Attorney & Founder
Scott graduated from law school at Wake Forest University in 1997 and immediately went to work representing injured people, opening the Concord office of Tim L. Harris & Associates. He was amazed to learn how poorly injured people were treated by the very insurance companies that claimed to be "on your side" — and quickly realized he'd found the right area of the law.
Scott loves to fight for "the little guy" against these powerful companies and to do whatever is necessary to ensure justice for his clients. Over the last three decades he has built a respected practice, trying cases throughout the State of North Carolina but always keeping his focus on helping the people of Cabarrus & Rowan County. Although his practice has gone through various changes over the years, with different attorneys and different firm names, Scott has continued to provide the same quality representation from the firm's original Concord office for nearly three decades.
He believes in giving every client the kind of personal attention and concern that simply isn't possible at the big-city mega-firms and he remains committed to working hard to obtain the best possible recovery for each and every one of his clients.
Scott lives in Concord with his wife, Jolene, where he is actively involved in the community. He has three grown children and two adorable granddaughters that he visits every chance he gets.
